Edition 2025 — Piombino Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Piombino Carnival featured the theme 'Superheroes and Villains'. Festivities took place from February 9 to March 4, with readings, workshops, and parades. The first itinerant parade in the historic center was held on February 28 from Piazza Costituzione with the Miwa Marching Band, while the grand finale on Shrove Tuesday, March 4, saw the procession led by Cicciolo conclude with the traditional bonfire at Piazzale d'Alaggio.

The 2025 Piombino Carnival brought the city to life from February 9 to March 4 under the theme Superheroes and Villains. Among the events, Saturday, February 22, featured readings dedicated to characters like Spider-Man, Hulk, Iron Man, and Wolverine, accompanied by a themed creative workshop.

On Friday, February 28, the first itinerant parade started at 4:30 PM from Piazza Costituzione with the Miwa Marching Band, ending in Piazza Cappelletti with the awarding of the best children's costumes. The grand finale, Tuesday, March 4 (Shrove Tuesday), saw the procession led by the Cicciolo mask travel from Piazza Costituzione to Piazzale d'Alaggio, where the traditional bonfire that closes the festival took place.
