Edition 2025 — Piode Carnival
In 2025, the Piode Carnival once again renewed its gastronomic tradition during the Carnival season, with events dedicated to the Paniccia and the Ossette organized by the Pro Loco at the Ristorante dei Pescatori, in the heart of the Upper Valsesia. The festival confirmed its convivial and popular character, featuring the dinner with a dance party, the Paniccia lunch, and the unmissable raffle drawing.
The 2025 Piode Carnival upheld the convivial ritual that characterizes the village festival: the Cena delle Ossette with a dance party and the Pranzo della Paniccia, the famous rice and vegetable soup of the Valsesia Carnival, served at the Ristorante dei Pescatori. As per tradition, the day of the Paniccia concluded with the raffle drawing. A simple and genuine event, an expression of the Alpine identity of Piode and the entire Valsesia, in the province of Vercelli.
