Edition 2025 — Madonna di Cristo

In 2025, the Pilgrimage to the Madonna di Cristo was held on Tuesday, April 22, Easter Tuesday. The community of Rignano Garganico accompanied the statue of the Madonna and Child in procession from the village to the medieval sanctuary nestled in the olive groves, with masses, a band, picnics, and fireworks, confirming the vitality of a thousand-year-old tradition deeply felt in the Gargano.

The 2025 edition of the pilgrimage took place on April 22, 2025, Easter Tuesday. As every year, the statue of the Madonna di Cristo was carried in procession from the Mother Church of Rignano Garganico to the sanctuary in the countryside, along the historic mule tracks. The day combined moments of devotion—the solemn mass and the blessing of the fields—with convivial ones, featuring traditional picnics among the olive trees and fireworks.
