Edition 2025 — Pigna Festival
The 2025 edition of the Pigna Festival was held on Saturday, April 12, in Castrocielo, the Saturday before Palm Sunday. The "Pigna... è tradizione" competition, organized by Pro Loco Castrocielo, brought together enthusiasts of the local Easter cake in the square, where it was judged by a panel and shared with the public as part of the "Cantando la Palma" festival.
2025 Edition
In 2025, the Pigna Festival took place on Saturday, April 12, on the eve of Palm Sunday, in Castrocielo (Frosinone, Lazio). The "Pigna... è tradizione" competition compared family recipes for the typical Easter cake, amidst the scents of anise and decorated glazes. As per tradition, the event was held in conjunction with the folk singing festival "Cantando la Palma," which brought the village to life with its singing groups.
