Piglio Cesanese Grape Festival

The 51st edition, from October 3 to 5, 2025

Piglio hosted the fifty-first Cesanese Grape Festival from October 3 to 5, 2025, three days dedicated to the signature wine of the Ciociaria region and the community that produces it. Mayor Mario Felli had announced an edition focused on tradition, passion, and above all, fun, with initiatives spread throughout the historic center and designed for families.

The program combined respect for the historical customs of the event with some new features, confirming the formula that made the festival famous: tastings of Cesanese del Piglio DOCG in cellars reopened for the occasion, local product stands, performances by folk groups with costumed parades, traditional songs and dances, and art exhibitions along the village alleys.

Among the protagonists of the 2025 edition were the students of local schools, involved in the festival's activities: a way to pass on to the new generations the memory of a festival born in 1972 that has become part of the identity of the Municipality of Piglio and the entire province of Frosinone.
