Edition 2025 — Pieve di Cento Carnival
The 2025 edition of the Carnival of Pieve di Cento was held on Sundays February 2, 9, and 16, with parades along Corso del Guercino starting at 2:30 PM. Three days dedicated to families and children, with the allegorical floats of the twelve carnival societies, bands, dancers, and the Barbaspein mask, culminating in the award for the most beautiful float voted by the schools.
The 2025 Parades
The Carnival of Pieve di Cento 2025 was spread over three Sundays of parades in the historic center, starting at 2:30 PM with free admission.
- February 2: grand opening parade with DJs Cuccurullo and Ivo Morini and percussion from the Rulli Frulli Band.
- February 9: second day animated by the cartoon cover band La Bandessa.
- February 16: closing parade and award ceremony for the most beautiful float, voted by the schools of Pieve di Cento.
On stage were the floats from the Pieve carnival societies — Bastacsìa, Miserabel, Puc e Bon, Sumaren, Caval bon, Avgnir-Cagnon, Barcon, Pink Lady, l'Ottavo Nano, Magnagat, La Busa, and i Galli — with throwing machines, games, dancers, jugglers, face painters, and entertainment.
