Edition 2025 — Pietrino Carnival

In 2025, the Pietrino Carnival of Pietraperzia experienced its most vibrant day with the Fat Thursday parade. The procession, enlivened by local schools, started from the Santa Croce area and, traveling along Via Stefano Di Blasi, reached Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, the heart of the festivities, amidst music, masks, clowns, and children's dance performances.

The 2025 edition of the Pietrino Carnival had its highlight on Fat Thursday, with a parade that crossed the center of Pietraperzia. The procession started from the Santa Croce area, traveled along Via Stefano Di Blasi, and concluded in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, where the main activities were concentrated.

The protagonists of the festival were the students of the "Vincenzo Guarnaccia" Comprehensive Institute and the "Sacro Cuore" Institute, who paraded in costume together with families and relatives. The day was animated by clowns Giovanni Ruffini, known as "Zazu", and his wife Aurora De Luca, a stilt walker in a long multicolored dress who led the procession, as well as dance performances by the school children. A sudden rain shower around 10:30 AM only partially interrupted the festivities.

Mayor Salvuccio Messina and Councilors Rosalba Ciulla and Carlo Falzone took part in the event; security was provided by the Municipal Police, the National Carabinieri Association, and the Enna Rangers.
