Edition 2025 — Pietravairano City of the Nativity

The tenth edition of the Pietravairano Living Nativity took place over four evenings, December 26-27, 2024, and January 5-6, 2025, with fixed hours from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The historic village returned to dress as Bethlehem along a route of about 1.5 kilometers, with 84 animated scenes and 250 performers. The first two evenings recorded such a turnout that organizers hoped to exceed the numbers of previous editions.

The tenth edition, December 2024 - January 2025

For its tenth edition, the Pietravairano Living Nativity returned on December 26 and 27, 2024, and then on January 5 and 6, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, in the historic center of the town of Pietravairano, in the province of Caserta.

The route, about a kilometer and a half long along Via Federico Altieri and the alleys of the upper part of the town, featured 84 animated scenes and about 250 performers: shepherds, artisans, merchants, prisoners, and travelers reconstructed the life scenes of the Bethlehem of the year zero, among workshops, prisons, ancient homes, and taverns.

Admission cost 5 euros and included the tasting of some local products and the shuttle service from the lower to the upper part of the town; parking was free, and several food and wine stands preceded the entrance to the nativity. The outcome was highly positive, with a real crowd on the evenings of St. Stephen's Day and December 27.
