Edition 2025 — Pietrasanta Organ Festival

The 6th edition of the Pietrasanta International Organ Festival took place from June 28 to July 12, 2025, at the Duomo di San Martino, featuring three free concerts. The festival hosted internationally renowned organists, confirming Pietrasanta as one of the Tuscan capitals of organ music.

International Organ Festival 2025 - 6th edition

The sixth edition was held in the Duomo di San Martino in Pietrasanta with three evenings, all starting at 9:15 PM with free admission. The festival featured some of the most appreciated performers on the European scene:

  • June 28 - Sophie-Véronique Cauchefer-Choplin, French organist, opened the festival;
  • July 5 - Matteo Imbruno, specialist in the Baroque repertoire and titular organist of the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam;
  • July 12 - Matthias Maierhofer, titular organist of the great organ of the Freiburg Cathedral, closed the festival with a symphonic program spanning the 19th and 20th centuries.

All concerts were performed on the Duomo's grand Chichi pipe organ, before a large audience of residents and tourists in Versilia.
