Edition 2025 — Climbing Festival

From July 25 to 27, 2025, Pietracamela hosted a new edition of the Climbing Festival, three days of vertical sport on the Teramo side of the Gran Sasso. The program included the lead contest on the Falesia degli Aquilotti with routes from 6c to 8a, street bouldering in the village alleys, a highline meeting, evening talks and screenings with guests from the climbing world, live music in Piazza degli Eroi, and a food and wine area featuring Abruzzo flavors.

Climbing Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Climbing Festival took place in Pietracamela (Teramo) from July 25 to 27, organized by ASD Mondi Verticali with the support of the CAI of Pietracamela.

The program kicked off on Friday with the opening of registrations and the start of the lead contest on the Falesia degli Aquilotti, followed in the evening by a talk and the screening of the film "A Nord" with Andrea Di Donato and Domenico Totani, and hip hop music by the Fatt'a Casa Crew. Saturday was dedicated to the highline meeting and street bouldering in the village, with a talk and screening by international guest Marko Prezelj and an evening concert with Rainska and a DJ set. On Sunday, the street bouldering and lead contest concluded with finals and awards in Piazza degli Eroi. A weekend that confirmed Pietracamela as the Abruzzo capital of climbing.

Friday, July 25: registration opening (14:00), start of lead contest (15:00), talk and screening of "A Nord" with Andrea Di Donato and Domenico Totani (20:00), hip hop music by Fatt'a Casa Crew. Saturday, July 26: desk opening (09:30), highline meeting and start of street bouldering (11:00), talk and screening with Marko Prezelj (20:00), live music by Rainska and DJ set Livello Zero (22:00). Sunday, July 27: desk opening (09:30), end of street bouldering and lead contest (17:00), finals (18:30), awards ceremony (20:00).
