2025 Christmas Markets in Piazza Duomo

The 2025 edition of the Christmas Markets in L'Aquila took place from December 6, 2025, to January 6, 2026, in Piazza Duomo, the heart of the historic center. Traditional wooden chalets embraced the center of the square and animated Corso Vittorio Emanuele, offering a selection of handicrafts, gift ideas, and local flavors.

Among the products for sale, Abruzzo's finest stood out: L'Aquila saffron, nougat, cheeses and cured meats, honey, farro, and lentils, along with Castelli ceramics and wooden and copper accessories. The big news of the year was the ice skating rink in Piazza Duomo, accompanied by a Ferris wheel, which made the atmosphere even more magical on the eve of the year as the Italian Capital of Culture. The initiative was promoted by the Municipality of L'Aquila together with trade and craft associations.
