Piano Piano per Sulmona

Ninth edition: the city that plays

The ninth edition of Piano Piano per Sulmona took place on August 22 and 23, 2025, in the historic center of Sulmona, in the province of L'Aquila. Two intense days with eight musical stations, ten pianos, forty-five concerts and performances, and over 150 artists, spread across Corso Sud, Corso Ovidio, Corso Nord, the Palazzo della Ss. Annunziata, Piazza XX Settembre, Piazza Plebiscito, and historic courtyards.

The protagonists

Prominent names performed on stage: Casadilego, winner of X Factor Italia; Francesco Mammola with the Mandolove project; Claudio Filippini and Fabio Colella with Skids; and the Nero a Metà Experience, a tribute to Pino Daniele in its only Abruzzo stop. On Friday the 22nd, performances began at 6:00 PM, and on Saturday the 23rd from 11:30 AM until the final event at 11:00 PM. The festival, organized by Muntagninjazz APS in collaboration with the Municipality of Sulmona, was entirely free.
