Edition 2025 — Pianeta Terra Festival

The 2025 edition of the Pianeta Terra Festival took place in Lucca from October 2nd to 5th under the title "Unstable Systems." Over ninety meetings and more than one hundred Italian and international guests addressed the fragilities of the present, from global warming to geopolitical instability. Key figures included Marta Cartabia, Lucio Caracciolo, Paolo Giordano, Michela Marzano, and Tim Lenton.

Pianeta Terra Festival 2025 - Unstable Systems

The fourth edition of the Pianeta Terra Festival was held in Lucca from October 2nd to 5th, 2025, under the title Unstable Systems. Under the direction of Stefano Mancuso, the festival reflected on the acceleration of changes in complex systems: climate, economy, politics, geopolitics, and technology.

With over ninety meetings and more than one hundred Italian and international guests, including Marta Cartabia, Lucio Caracciolo, Paolo Giordano, Michela Marzano, Tim Lenton, David Quammen, and Sunil Amrith, the edition animated the Church of San Francesco, Palazzo Ducale, the Botanical Garden, the Auditorium del Suffragio, and other historic center venues, all with free admission.
