Edition 2025 — PDMV Living Nativity
The 2025 edition
The second edition of the Piana di Monte Verna Living Nativity took place in December 2025, in the historic center of the town in the province of Caserta. After the success of the 2024 debut, the Comitato Mamme PDMV and local associations set up the display again among the village alleys, with the support of the parish, volunteers, and local forces dedicated to the safety of the route.
In 2025, the formula remained the one that had won over visitors: a free walking itinerary that alternates Nativity scenes with tableaux of rural and artisanal life, accompanied by music and candlelight in the evening hours. The event's inclusion in the regional lists of living nativities for 2025/2026 brought visitors from neighboring towns to the village, helping to consolidate the event in the Christmas calendar of the Caserta hinterland.
