Piacentina DOP Bacon Fair

The 21st edition of the Piacentina DOP Bacon Fair was held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in Ponte dell'Olio (PC), in the heart of Val Nure. For this edition too, the village hosted the PalaPancetta with 500 seats, restaurants, wineries, a brewery, and about twenty food stands, as well as the "Pancetteria d'Autore" with the best bacon reserves. The program alternated tastings, themed exhibitions, and workshops for children, enlivening the village streets with the band's parade and majorettes. The event, organized by the Municipality of Ponte dell'Olio together with the Comunità Valnure, had free admission, confirming the strong bond between the village and one of Emilia-Romagna's symbolic cured meats.
