PGI Sicilian Red Orange Festival

The 11th PGI Sicilian Red Orange Festival took place in Centuripe, in the province of Enna, from April 25 to 27, 2025. The event confirmed the successful formula that makes it one of the most cherished citrus-themed gatherings in the Sicilian hinterland: free tastings based on Tarocco red oranges, markets with local producers and artisans, show cooking, and initiatives to promote the supply chain.

The days were enlivened by parades of Sicilian carts, folk groups in costume, traditional music and songs, as well as guided tours to discover the historic center of Centuripe, the "Balcony of Sicily". The 2025 edition saw the active participation of local hospitality schools, which played a leading role in preparing red orange-based desserts, in a festival that combines taste, tradition, and the promotion of the town.
