Pessati Festival

The 2025 Pessati Festival returned to Santa Massenza (Municipality of Vallelaghi, Trentino-Alto Adige) over the weekend of May 10 and 11. In Piazza San Vigilio, overlooking the lake connected to Lake Toblino, the Pro Loco Santa Massenza enlivened the two-day event with food stalls dedicated to pessati, the characteristic dried lake fish, polenta, and other traditional dishes, accompanied by wines from the Valle dei Laghi.

The festival, which offered free admission, attracted families, young people, and seniors from neighboring towns, confirming the village's deep bond with its lake fishing tradition. Music and entertainment rounded off one of the most characteristic events of the Trentino spring.
