Edition 2025 — Clam Festival

The Pesaro Clam Festival is a newly established event: its first edition is held in June 2026. In 2025, the event had not yet been created and therefore did not take place. The maritime tradition of Pesaro linked to the "Purassa", the Adriatic clam, was however already at the centre of the life of the Washington Patrignani Maritime Museum and the port's culture, from which the festival drew inspiration to be born the following year.

In 2025, the Pesaro Clam Festival did not take place: the event was actually born in 2026 as its very first edition, promoted by the Municipality of Pesaro to enhance the "Purassa" and the maritime tradition of the Adriatic.

Even before the festival's inception, the city's connection with the sea and clam fishing was preserved and told by the Washington Patrignani Maritime Museum in Pesaro (PU), in the Marche region. This cultural heritage is the starting point for the new event, designed to bring together culture, science, gastronomy, and music around one of the most iconic seafood products of the Marche coast.
