PerSo – Perugia Social Film Festival

The 2025 edition of PerSo – Perugia Social Film Festival, the eleventh, was held from September 26 to October 8 with the theme Real Cinema in a Dystopian Reality. The festival reflected on the role of documentary filmmaking in the face of present-day tragedies.

The program included the PerSo Award and PerSo Short Award competitions — with titles such as Toro, The Landscape and the Fury, Summer Camp, and Kickoff — the virtual reality section PerSə nella VR (October 2-5), the multidisciplinary section MultiPerso, the special section Palestine: It Can No Longer Wait, the retrospective on Nicolas Philibert, the tribute to Daniele Segre, and the educational programs for schools Fuoricampo and La settima ora.
