Perdifumo Open Doors 2025

The event promoted by the Pro Loco Perdifumo e Frazioni, with the patronage of the Municipality of Perdifumo and the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park, returned on August 17 and 18, 2025 in the historic center of the town, in the province of Salerno.

For two evenings, the village transformed into a route to be explored on foot, among slopes, descents, and narrow alleys. The food stalls offered classics of Cilento peasant cuisine — from cicciata to lagane and chickpeas, from pasta and potatoes with provola to cavatelli and ziti with wild boar ragù — accompanied by homemade desserts such as ricotta and fig tart and black cherry cake.

The evenings were animated by folk music groups and Cilento tarantella in the early hours, with DJ sets and more modern rhythms in the second part of the night, while street performers roamed the historic center. Admission remained free, confirming the popular and community vocation of the event.
