Peoples' Festival at the Sanctuary of San Gabriele

The third edition of the Peoples' Festival was held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Sanctuary of San Gabriele dell'Addolorata, under the theme "Sign of Hope", on the occasion of the Jubilee Year. The day brought together young people from five nations and three continents: Mexico (parish of Apaseo el Alto), Portugal (Setúbal), Madagascar (Antananarivo), Burundi (Muberere), and Italy with the Diocese of Teramo-Atri.

The morning program included the opening of the stands at 10:00 AM, the Jubilee prayer with Bishop Monsignor Lorenzo Leuzzi at 11:00 AM, and the presentation of associations with music, theater, and art at 11:30 AM. In the afternoon, at 3:30 PM, the eighth International Marian Youth Vigil began, with over a thousand participants. Among the organizations present were Caritas, UNITALSI, Camminiamo per l'Africa, and folk groups, with communities also connecting from Poland and Hungary. The celebration was broadcast on the television channel Super J and on diocesan social media pages.
