Pentecost Festival

The 394th edition of the Pentecost Festival in Castel Bolognese, province of Ravenna, was held from June 5 to 9, 2025, confirming the festival as one of the most cherished events in Romagna. The program alternated tradition and great music: on Thursday, the "Rockopera" with the ARIC Ensemble Orchestra conducted by Loris Ceroni, a journey through the greats of rock from Pink Floyd to Dire Straits and Eric Clapton; on Friday, the "Crazy '90s" evening. On Friday, June 6, the traditional parade of parish floats with the re-enactment of ancient crafts took place, enlivened by the Banda del Passatore, the Fruste di Romagna, and the "Come eravamo Valle Senio" band. On Monday, June 9, the festival concluded with the drawing of the 5,000 euro tombola in shopping vouchers and the final concert by Morgan. There were also exhibitions, displays of vintage cars and agricultural machinery, the funfair, markets, and stands with traditional Romagna dishes and local wines.
