Penne Carnival 2025
The 2025 edition marked the return of the Penne Carnival after the forced break during the pandemic years. Due to bad weather that had forced the postponement of the events originally set for mid-February, the parades were held on Sunday, March 2 and Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
On both days, the procession of allegorical floats departed at 3:00 PM from Viale Ringa, crossing the streets of the historic center of Penne, in the province of Pescara. On March 2, the parade concluded near Viale di San Francesco, while on March 4, Shrove Tuesday, the route ended in Piazza Luca da Penne. The event, promoted by the Municipality, involved the entire community in an atmosphere of joy and tradition, featuring masks, music, and typical seasonal sweets.
