Pegnana Festival

The 2025 edition of the Pegnana Festival, now in its 38th year, was held over two weekends: June 28-29 and July 4-6, in the Al Piano area of the Pegnana hamlet, in Barga (LU). The food stalls offered traditional Garfagnana dishes: necci with ricotta, grilled meats, and fried pasta. Among the most popular events were the Pegnana a Tutta Birra evening on July 4, dedicated to younger crowds with a DJ set, and the return of the Baracca senza frontiere on July 6, featuring traditional games like tug-of-war, wood-cutting competitions, and sack races. The festival, brought to life by the Pegnana Village Committee, confirmed its appeal, attracting hundreds of visitors to an enchanting mountain corner.
