Edition 2025 — Sapori Contadini Ticciano

The 2025 edition of the Peasant Flavors Festival took place in Ticciano, Vico Equense, on Sunday, August 10th and Monday, August 11th, 2025, from 7:00 PM to midnight. Organized by the ACLI Attilio Buonocore circle, the festival featured goat meat 'alla ticcianese', traditional desserts, and local wine, all prepared with farm-to-table ingredients, accompanied by live music along the streets of the hillside village.

How it went in 2025

In 2025, the Peasant Flavors Festival returned to Ticciano, a hamlet of Vico Equense in the province of Naples, on the evenings of Sunday, August 10th and Monday, August 11th, with stalls open from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

The event, organized by the ACLI Attilio Buonocore circle in collaboration with the Municipality of Vico Equense and the parish of San Michele Arcangelo, confirmed the formula that has characterized it since 1999: peasant cuisine dishes prepared with farm-to-table products, from goat meat 'alla ticcianese' to homemade desserts, and wine from the surrounding countryside.

Among the protagonists of the edition was chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo, originally from Ticciano, whose presence brought further media attention to the festival. The evenings were enlivened by live music, with the village transformed into one long open-air dining table.

Programme

Evenings of August 10 and 11, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM in the village of Ticciano: tasting stalls with goat meat 'alla ticcianese', traditional local desserts, and locally produced wine, all with farm-to-table ingredients, accompanied by live music. Guests of the edition included chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo, born in Ticciano.
