Peasant and Artisan Civilization Festival

From August 21st to 24th, 2025, the historic center of Acquapendente hosted the Peasant and Artisan Civilization Festival, one of the most attended events of the summer in northern Lazio. For four evenings, the streets and squares of the Tuscia viterbese village came alive with re-enactments of rural life and ancient artisan trades.

As per tradition, the event featured live scenes of peasant life, artisan markets, exhibitions, folk music and dancing, along with food stalls serving traditional dishes and local products. The event, promoted by the Municipality of Acquapendente and the Pro Loco with the support of local associations, reaffirmed the community's strong bond with its peasant and artisan roots.
