Patronal Festivals of the Montalcino Districts

The 2025 edition of the patronal festivals confirmed the role of the Districts as the beating heart of the Montalcino community. Throughout the weekends of June, each District—Borghetto, Travaglio, Ruga, and Pianello—celebrated its patron saint with musical, gastronomic, and religious events in the historic center of the town, in the province of Siena. Between concerts in the square, street food, processions, and social gatherings, the celebrations renewed the ancient district identity that comes alive every autumn during the Sagra del Tordo. An event long-awaited by residents and visitors alike, it is an authentic expression of the community spirit that defines the Brunello village in the heart of Tuscany.
