Edition 2025 — Patronal Festivals of Prata d'Ansidonia

In 2025, Prata d'Ansidonia once again celebrated its Patronal Festivals in honor of Saint Paul, Saint Nicholas, and Saint Anthony of Padua, following the end-of-June tradition. Three days of processions, brass bands, evening shows, food stalls, and fireworks that, as every year, brought together the village community and visitors to the Navelli plateau.

2025 Patronal Festivals

The 2025 edition upheld the tradition of the Patronal Festivals of Prata d'Ansidonia, in the heart of the Abruzzo region of L'Aquila. Set against the backdrop of the village and the Church of Saint Paul, linked to the ancient Roman city of Peltuinum, religious celebrations were held in honor of the patron saints, with processions accompanied by brass bands and the blessing of the fields. The ceremonies were complemented by popular festivities: musical evenings, food stalls featuring local hinterland flavors, games, and tournaments for all ages, culminating in the traditional fireworks display to close the festivities.
