Patronal Festival of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of the Fountain

The 2025 patronal festival of Villa Castelli confirmed its well-tested formula, combining devotion and entertainment. After the days of preparation with evening Eucharistic celebrations at the Mother Church, on October 1 the town came alive with the town fair, the AVIS blood drive, the municipal band parade, the solemn mass presided over by Bishop Monsignor Vincenzo Pisanello, and the 4th edition of the Villa Castelli City Singing Festival.

On October 2, the solemn day of the patrons, holy masses were held, followed by the morning band parade and, in the evening, the solemn procession with the symbolic handing over of the city keys in Piazza Municipio, followed by the grand concert of the Rutigliano band and the fireworks display on Via Kalivia. The closing on October 3 featured the thanksgiving mass, the commemoration of the Transitus of Saint Francis of Assisi, and the concert by singer-songwriter Dolcenera, one of the most appreciated voices in Italian music.

September 25 - October 1 — Preparation

• 9:30 PM — Grand concert by the Rutigliano band
• 11:30 PM — Fireworks display on Via Kalivia

October 3 — Closing

• 7:00 PM — Thanksgiving mass
