Patronal Festival of Saint Michael the Archangel in Villanova del Ghebbo

The 2025 edition of the Festival of Saint Michael the Archangel marked a historic milestone: the one hundredth anniversary of the event, from September 19th to 29th. The days of September 25th-27th featured theatrical performances, nostalgic music evenings (with 90s music by FLY90), vintage car exhibitions, and dancing.

Sunday, September 28th, the central day, included health screenings, boat trips along the river, activities for children, majorettes, and an evening of dancing with the Orchestra Mirko ed Elisa, concluding with fireworks at 11:30 PM. Monday, September 29th, the patron saint's day, featured a solemn mass at 7:00 PM and a dinner show with a lottery draw. Throughout the festival, the gastronomic stand offered codfish, pumpkin cappellacci, and duck bigoli, alongside a luna park and craft demonstrations. The festival was organized by the local Pro Loco with the support of AVIS, Civil Protection, and the municipal administration.
