Edition 2025 — Patronal Feasts and Donkey Palio of Mura

In 2025, Mura also celebrated the Patronal Feasts of Santa Maria Assunta for Ferragosto: four days of procession, food stalls, tournaments, and musical tributes, culminating on August 15th in the medieval pageant and the Donkey Palio between the districts, with a final fireworks display.

The 2025 edition of Mura's Patronal Feasts renewed the Ferragosto tradition in Valle Sabbia. The days alternated moments of procession with the statue of the Madonna and religious celebrations with festive events featuring food stalls, tombola, cocktail bar, water volleyball tournament, and musical tribute evenings. Ferragosto featured the medieval pageant with kings, queens, pages, and flag-wavers, and the Donkey Palio between the village districts, concluding with dinner, fireworks, and a lottery. A celebration that confirmed the community's strong bond with its patron saint, Santa Maria Assunta.
