Patronal Feast of the Patron Saints — Santa Maria delle Grazie and San Vincenzo Ferrer

The 2025 edition of the San Donaci Patronal Feast confirmed the importance of this event in the life of the town in the province of Brindisi. The novena in late July and the traditional vigil at the Edicola di Montecoco prepared the community for the days of celebration. On August 4th, the solemn procession carried the statues of Santa Maria delle Grazie and San Vincenzo Ferrer through the streets, accompanied by the Holy Rosary; upon returning to the church square, fireworks greeted the patrons. On August 5th, with solemn masses and the panegyric, the devotional heart of the festival was experienced, while illuminations, brass band music on the bandstand, and market stalls along the main street enlivened the town until evening.

How the 2025 edition took place

• Late July — Novena to the patron saints and vigil ("la seduta") at the Edicola di Montecoco.
• August 4th — Solemn procession with the statues of Santa Maria delle Grazie and San Vincenzo Ferrer; fireworks on the church square upon return.
• August 5th — Solemn masses with panegyric; civic festivities with a band on the bandstand, illuminations, and market stalls.
