Patronal Feast of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary was celebrated in Fresonara, in the Province of Alessandria, on September 8, 2025, confirming a religious and popular tradition deeply rooted in the Piedmontese village.

The day followed the usual schedule: the solemn Holy Mass in the Parish Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, followed by the procession through the village streets with the statue of the Madonna carried on shoulders and the traditional dances of the bearers. There was no shortage of moments of celebration and conviviality at the Sports Field and Piazza don Orione, the heart of the Fresonara community life.
