Patronal Feast of the Most Holy Trinity

The 2025 edition of the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity renewed the patronal tradition of Gressoney-La-Trinité, organized by the Pro Loco of Gressoney.

The program confirmed the dual soul of the festival: the conviviality of Saturday evening, with a community dinner, live music, and the bonfire with the distribution of sweets prepared by families; and the solemnity of Sunday, marked by the Mass and the procession in traditional Walser costume through the village streets, followed by an aperitif in the square and the shared lunch. An event that every year, on the eighth Sunday after Easter, reaffirms the identity of the German-speaking community of the upper Lys Valley, in the province of Aosta.
