Edition 2025 — Feast of the Most Holy Savior

Also in 2025, Torchiara celebrated its patron saint, the Most Holy Savior, on August 6th, the day of the Transfiguration. The community of the Cilento village gathered around the parish church for religious services and for the procession through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by a brass band, while the evening was dedicated to music and fireworks. An event that every summer draws families, returning emigrants, and visitors from neighboring towns.

The 2025 Patronal Feast

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of the Most Holy Savior took place in Torchiara, in the province of Salerno, on August 6th, a fixed date linked to the liturgical feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, with the usual preparation moments on the eve of August 5th.

As every year, the center of the village came alive for the most deeply felt occasion of the Torchiara summer: celebrations in the Church of the Most Holy Savior, the procession with the statue of the patron saint along the alleys of the village accompanied by a brass band, illuminations, and evening outdoor events concluded by a fireworks display.

The festival was part of an August full of initiatives in the village, between the medieval festival in the historic center of Copersito and the gastronomic offerings linked to the traditions of Cilento. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Thursday, August 6th.
