Patronal Feast of the Most Holy Crucifix

The 2025 Program

The 2025 festivities opened on Friday, September 12th with the pilgrimage to the Three Crosses on Monte Santa Caterina (3:30 PM) and, in the evening, the "Radio Time 90 Dance Show" in Piazza Matrice.

Saturday, September 13th saw the island come alive with a performance by "Ottoni Animati," a Podcast Festival featuring actor Corrado Fortuna, and a concert by the band Hmora with Claudio Casisa.

The solemn day of Sunday, September 14th began at dawn with the Alborata at Molo San Leonardo and a parade by the "M. Giuseppe Beninati" band through the town; in the afternoon, a solemn Mass was held at the Chiesa Matrice followed by the solemn procession of the Most Holy Crucifix. The evening concluded with a grand finale in Piazza Matrice featuring Rubina, Alberto Anguzza, Silvio Barbara, and a special appearance by Sasà Salvaggio.
