Edition 2025 — Feast of the Holy Wood of the Cross
In 2025, the Patronal Feast of the Holy Wood of the Cross renewed the most cherished appointment of the year in Ururi, combining devotion to the patron saint with the vitality of the Arbëresh community. The liturgical celebrations and processions were accompanied by the Carrese, the race of ox-drawn carts, and popular events in the square.
The festival, organized by the Municipality and the Parish of Ururi, confirmed its vocation to attract residents and returning emigrants to Lower Molise.
Programme
The 2025 edition followed tradition, with religious celebrations, blessing of the carts, the Carrese, processions, and popular events in the center of Ururi.
