About Patronal Feast of Arese
The patrons of Arese celebrate
The Patronal Feast of Saints Peter and Paul is the major event at the end of June with which Arese, a municipality in the Milanese hinterland within the Metropolitan City of Milan, celebrates its patron saints. Organized by the ProLoco in collaboration with the Municipality, the feast enlivens Piazza SS. Pietro e Paolo and the town center for five evenings.
Five evenings of music and tradition
The program alternates moments of entertainment, devotion, and conviviality:
- live concerts with bands and musical groups
- a religious evening with choirs and ensembles in Piazza SS. Pietro e Paolo
- food stand with traditional dishes
- traditional games such as the 'Salto dell'Oca' and the 'Pozzo dei desideri'
The grand fireworks finale
The feast culminates on June 29th, the feast day of Saints Peter and Paul, with the usual evening fireworks display that concludes the celebrations, to the amazement of residents and visitors. The final day also features the food stand and popular games.
A community celebration
The Patronal Feast of Arese is a deeply felt event by the community, capable of uniting the religious dimension, linked to the parish and the Pastoral Community, with the popular and entertainment aspects. An opportunity to experience the town center in an atmosphere of celebration and tradition.
Patronal Feast of Arese — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saints Peter and Paul in Arese runs from June 25th to 29th, organized by the ProLoco with the Municipality.
The five evenings feature live concerts with RoldBand, The Funky Machine, theFlow, and Ortica R&B Band, a religious evening with choirs and ensembles in Piazza SS. Pietro e Paolo, the food stand, and traditional games such as the Salto dell'Oca and the Pozzo dei desideri. The grand finale is set for June 29th, the patrons' feast day, with the fireworks display at 11 PM.

How to get there
Arese can be reached from Milan by car via the SS233 Varesina or the A8 motorway, Lainate exit. It is served by bus lines from the metropolitan terminus.
Food stand
The food stand, managed by the ProLoco, opens on the evenings of the feast starting from 7 PM.
Admission
Free admission to all events of the feast.
