Patronal Feast of Sant'Oronzo and Sant'Antonio

The 2025 Patronal Feast of Sant'Oronzo and Sant'Antonio followed the traditional Castiglione script. At the end of July, the historic center of Castiglione d'Otranto, a village of Andrano (Lecce), was adorned with illuminations to welcome the celebrations in honor of the two patron saints.

The most solemn moment was the procession with the statues of Saint Anthony of Padua and Saint Oronzo, accompanied by the brass band and followed by the faithful along the village streets. The evenings were enlivened by brass band concerts and closed with fireworks, while the civil festival attracted residents, vacationers, and emigrant families who returned for the occasion. A popular festival that reaffirmed the deep bond between the community and its patrons.
