Patronal Feast of San Potito in Ovindoli

2025 Edition

In the summer of 2025, the hamlet of San Potito, in the Municipality of Ovindoli (Abruzzo), renewed its appointment with its Patronal Feast, which culminated on August 4th. The local community gathered for the celebrations in honor of Saint Potitus the Martyr, Saint Anthony of Padua, and Our Lady of the Snows, with a solemn Mass and blessing in the village church, followed by a procession through the streets of the hamlet accompanied by traditional music. There was no shortage of food stalls with typical Marsican dishes and live music evenings that enlivened the mountain village square.
