Edition 2025 — San Giovanni Decollato Canistro

On August 29, 2025, Canistro celebrated its patron saint, San Giovanni Decollato, with the usual festival that gathers the community of the small Valle Roveto village every year. The day followed the tried-and-true blend of devotion and conviviality: the solemn mass and the procession of the saint's statue through the historic center, followed in the evening by festive moments in the square with music and family gatherings, many of whom returned to the village for the occasion during the final stretch of summer.

2025 Edition

The 2025 Patronal Feast of San Giovanni Decollato took place in Canistro (AQ) on August 29th, on the day dedicated to the town's patron saint. As per tradition, the central moment was religious, with a solemn mass in the parish church and the procession that accompanied the statue of the saint through the stone streets of the Valle Roveto village.

The devotional part was joined by civil celebrations in the square, with music and social moments that brought together residents and visitors.
