Patronal Feast of San Francesco da Paola

In 2025, Stornarella once again observed its most cherished day on April 2nd: the feast of San Francesco da Paola, patron of the town in the province of Foggia. Celebrations were concentrated at the Mother Church of Maria SS. della Stella, featuring a solemn Holy Mass and the procession of the saint's statue along the streets of the center.

The patronal feast reaffirmed Stornarella's strong bond with the devotion to San Francesco, shared with other centers of the Cinque Reali Siti, in a blend of popular faith and communal tradition typical of the patronal feasts of the Tavoliere delle Puglie.
