Patronal Feast of San Felice

The 2025 edition

Devotion to San Felice also marked the life of Orria in 2025, in the Cilento hinterland in the province of Salerno, with the usual double appointment. In January, the liturgical celebration of the 14th, the most intimate, reserved mainly for the town's faithful. In August, the great community festival of the second Sunday of the month, which attracts emigrants and vacationers and has always represented the moment when the village comes together in full.

As every year, the procession with the heavy statues carried on shoulders along the uphill alleys was the emotional heart of the day, preceded by the novena and the decoration of streets and balconies. The Church of San Felice Martire, built between 1505 and 1562 by the monks of the Convent of Sant'Agostino, hosted the solemn celebrations.
