Edition 2025 — San Benedetto in Perillis Patronal Feast

In 2025, the village of San Benedetto in Perillis once again celebrated its Patronal Feast in early June, honoring Saint Benedict the Abbot, the Blessed Virgin of Casaluce, and Saint Anthony. Three days of faith and community, marked by masses, processions, and traditional fireworks in honor of the Madonna of Casaluce, confirming the vitality of a tradition passed down through generations in the heart of the Abruzzo interior.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of San Benedetto in Perillis (province of L'Aquila, Abruzzo) took place in early June, following the usual three-day schedule dedicated to the village's patron saints.

As per tradition, the festivities combined the religious dimension—with holy masses and the procession of the statue of the Blessed Virgin of Casaluce—with the popular one, culminating in the fireworks in honor of the Madonna. The feast, organized by the community and the local Pro Loco, confirmed its role as the most cherished event of the year for the small village on the Navelli plateau.
