The Patrons of Turate
The Patronal Feast of Saints Peter and Paul is the most important event in Turate, a municipality in the province of Como located at the southern tip of the area, bordering the province of Varese and Saronno. It is celebrated on June 29th, the liturgical day of the two apostles, to whom the parish church in Piazza della Chiesa is dedicated.
Faith and Community Celebration
The feast celebrates, in the words of the administration, 'the rich history, tradition, and spirituality of the community,' and aims to be an occasion for joy, prayer, and fun for the whole family.
