Patronal Feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian

The 2025 edition

In 2025, the feast in honor of Saints Cosmas and Damian took place in Teano, in the province of Caserta, according to the usual calendar, with the focus on the liturgical memorial of the two 'anargyroi' saints on September 26th. The parish community enlivened the days with Eucharistic celebrations, the veneration of the statues of the Physician Saints, and the traditional procession through the streets of the town.

A community festival

Also in 2025, as is customary in the patronal feasts of northern Campania, the religious part was accompanied by the secular side: illuminations along the streets, market stalls, and meeting points in the squares of the Sidicino town. A detailed program of the edition was not published online, maintaining the intimate and communal character typical of this recurrence.

Towards 2026

The continuity of the festival was confirmed a few months later, when at the beginning of 2026, the organizers announced the concert by Alunni del Sole for September 27th, giving the following edition a broader scope.
