Patronal Feast of Saint Vitus and Saint Vincent Ferrer

The 2025 Patronal Feast of San Vito dei Normanni was held from July 10 to 14, opening on Thursday with the transfer of the statue of Saint Vincent Ferrer to the Basilica of Santa Maria della Vittoria and the lighting of the illuminations. The religious core was Sunday, July 13, with morning masses, the solemn celebration, and the procession of the patron saints through the main city streets.

The civil program was rich: the musical matinée and the horse parade on Saturday, the concert by the Banda Città di Manduria and the tribute band dedicated to Vasco Rossi, leading up to Sunday with the folk group I Taricata in Piazza Leonardo Leo and the fireworks at midnight. The festival concluded on Monday, July 14, with the concert by I Cugini di Campagna in Piazza Municipio and the lottery draw, confirming the Patronal Feast as the identity-defining event of the Municipality in the heart of the Salento region of Apulia.
