Edition 2025 — Saint Sebastian Feast

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Sebastian the Martyr took place on September 6 and 7 in Castel Gandolfo. The program combined the solemn Eucharist in the church of San Tommaso da Villanova and the procession of the patron's relics with performances in Piazza della Libertà: live music, children's entertainment, free guided tours, the performance of the Flag-wavers and Musicians of Marino, and an evening jazz concert, all overlooking Lake Albano.

Feast of Saint Sebastian 2025

The Patronal Feast of Saint Sebastian the Martyr of Castel Gandolfo was celebrated on Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7, 2025, confirming the tradition of the first weekend of September.

Saturday opened with the solemn Eucharist in the Parish Church of San Tommaso da Villanova, followed by the blessing of the patron saint and the procession with the Saint's relics. In the evening, Piazza della Libertà hosted a live musical show. Sunday's program continued with a free guided tour of the village, children's entertainment, the performance of the Flag-wavers and Musicians of Marino, and an evening jazz concert, in a festive atmosphere overlooking Lake Albano.

Saturday, September 6: 6:30 PM solemn Eucharist in the Parish Church of San Tommaso da Villanova, blessing of the patron saint, and procession with the relics; 9:00 PM live musical show in Piazza della Libertà. Sunday, September 7: 11:30 AM free guided tour (by reservation); 5:00 PM children's entertainment; 6:30 PM performance by the Flag-wavers and Musicians of Marino; 8:30 PM jazz concert.
