Patronal Feast of Saint Roch and Saint Nicholas of Tolentino

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Roch and Saint Nicholas of Tolentino took place in Modugno from Friday, September 26 to Monday, September 29, with its epicenter in Piazza Sedile and the historic center decorated with traditional illuminations.

The program, curated by the Unified Patronal Feast Committee, combined religious and civic dimensions: solemn masses at the Mother Church, processions with the statues of the patron saints, brass band parades, and bandstand concerts accompanied the four days. There was no shortage of market stalls, a funfair, and firework displays.

The highlight was the final procession of Saint Nicholas of Tolentino, attended by civil and military authorities, featuring the traditional ritual of the mayor presenting the city keys to the patron saint in Piazza Sedile.
