Edition 2025 — Saint Prosper

On August 21st, 2025, Poggio Sannita celebrated its patron saint Saint Prosper with a solemn mass, procession, band, and fireworks. The most important festival of the year in the Alto Molise village made famous by the Babaci.

The patronal feast of Saint Prosper on August 21st, 2025, confirmed the centrality of this event in the life of Poggio Sannita. Solemn mass, procession with the saint's statue through the village streets, a brass band, and fireworks marked the day, experienced by the community and by those who return to the village during the summer, amidst the Babaci and the flavors of scherpelle.
